Dish washer not switching on. Fuse ok when I unplug and then replug red light and displays on for few seconds
JA: What happened just before the light on your dishwasher came on?
Customer: No lights appears to be off
JA: How long has this been going on with your dishwasher? What have you tried so far?
Customer: After wash cycle completed the water had not drained away so have cleaned filters and replaced
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: tried unplgging and as said it appears to switch on then off after about 5 seconds

Thank you for the model number.

Please try this:

You may unplug it and remove the plinth (base panel below the door) of the appliance.

You will see a white plastic cover and above the white plastic base tray there is a metal cover.

Remove this and then you can try and soak the water up from the base there.

After this is done, check the drain hose where it connects to house drain and make sure it is not clogged.

Then clean the mesh filter from inside and make sure it is not blocked. Reconnect everything and plug it back.

It should work after you have tried this advise however, if the issue is still there then I am afraid the fault is with power board that will need replacement.

The part is available for around £170 + repair charges (£99 if done by Bosch).
