We have a creda dish washer which started its cycle then stopped and tripped the circuit breaker on the main consumer unit in the house. We had water standing in the bottom when we opened it which we have mopped out.
JA: Do you know the model of your Creda dishwasher? How old is it?
Customer: It’s quite old and we have a couple of numbers. LS12-BIT100
JA: How long has this been going on with your Creda dishwasher? What have you tried so far?
Customer: And serial no IDI60 28711441
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Just wondering if the pump may be shorting and how easy is it to remove from the housing as it’s built in.

You can unplug it and pull it out as well.

With plinth removed open the door and towards the top on either sides you will see screws holding the appliance to worktop.

Remove the screws and then close the door. Then you can pull it out.

Please try this:

You will have to unplug the appliance and pull it out, then tip it backwards by around 45 degrees so excess water drains off completely.

After you have done this, check the drain hose where it connects to house drain and make sure it is not clogged.

Then please clean the mesh filter from inside and make sure it is not blocked.

Now, reconnect everything and plug it back; select any program.

It should work however, if the problem occurs again you will have to replace the heating element.
