Whenever I try to set my oven clock it just puts the grill

Whenever I try to set my oven clock it just puts the grill on full whack.
JA: Is your oven gas or electric? How old is it?
Customer: Electric 10 months old
JA: How long has this been going on with your oven? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've tried turning off the power and back on too set the timer. But everytime it just sticks the grill on full whack.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Nope

Sorry for the delay just had to rebook laptop.

If the grill is coming on full setting without the grill being selected then its going to be a faulty grill regulator here im afraid.

Now as its 10 months old not sure if you are looking at fixing yourself or getting Candy out to repair it as it will still be under warrenty.

If you want to fix yourself then you need to remove the oven and remove the top and there you will see the switches there. Check the switches for signs of burning as the little brass bars on there can burn and fail.
