Bought a cordless hoover from yes catalogue it stopped

Hi bought a cordless hoover from yes catalogue it stopped working they told me to contact yourselves as it must be faulty
JA: Do you know the model of your Hoover appliance? How old is it?
Customer: black n decker 2-1 cordless hoover smart tech had since March 2021
JA: How long has this been going on with your Hoover appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: for about 6 weeks now ave charged it for days ave emptied the box when I switch it on it goes for about a second then switches off
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: i just need it fixed I really like my hoover it’s easy for me cause I don’t need to worry about the cable can yous fix it please

You may try this:

Please leave it unplugged for few minutes.

Then press and hold the ON button; whilst holding the ON button put the charger back on and let go the button after around 20 seconds.

See if it works, if the issue is still there, I am afraid the battery pack and/or charger will need replacement.

Usually the battery lasts for around 3-4 years.

You may contact the manufacturer and get it repaired under warranty.
