my hotpoint indution hob is flashing F5 can you help
JA: What happened just before your Hotpoint hob displayed this message?
Customer: the hob just kept flashing H and we kept on putting the heat bck on a few seconds later it whould flash H again
JA: How long has this been going on with your Hotpoint hob? What have you tried so far?
Customer: it happed yesterday when we was cooking a meal oven was on and the hob was on and it just sudenly started to flash H , since then it keeps flashing F5 tryed turning power of worked for bit then flashed F5 again
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: no that it the pans arn't that old as when i searched the code it was sujesting it was the wrong pans

F5 is a communication error between the main control board and user interface board.

The user interface is faulty and will need replacement.

You may leave it unplugged for around 4 hours and then see if it works.

However, if the error returns I am afraid you will have to replace the board.
