Hi Our AEG dynamicair makes a lot of noise - humming.
JA: Do you know the model of your AEG appliance? How old is it?
Customer: It has happened for the last three weeks. It is 3 years old
JA: How long has this been going on with your AEG appliance? What have you tried so far?

If you do not have the model number please provide an image of the control.

If you are on a computer, use the blue document with up arrow symbol by the send to load Images/Photos/Pictures.

You have to write a word in the message box like "Pic 1" then choose only one picture then send, as it will not let you do several at once.

On mobile phone, you should be able to respond to a text with pictures.

Sorry I now got your previous message with SCT71800S1 model number.

This indicates temperature issue and/or an air flow problem due to heavy ice build-up inside the rear wall of the appliance.

The noise you hear may be coming from fan hitting ice inside the rear of the appliance.

Please try this:

Leave it unplugged and empty with door open for around 24-36 hours.

Then plug it back (expect some water on the floor) and wait for another 8 hours so it gets back to optimum temperature.

The problem should be resolved.

However, if the issue appears again then the problem is with defrost operation.

You will have to test/replace the temperature sensor and/or defrost heater element to resolve the issue.
