I have a serie /2 bosh it seems to have become ‘child locked

I have a serie /2 bosh it seems to have become ‘child locked ‘ and what ever I do it won’t seem to unlock!!!
JA: Do you know the model of your Bosch appliance? How old is it?
Customer: it is new so 6 months old at the most
JA: How long has this been going on with your Bosch appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: just 24 hours . I have read the instruction book and tried pressing the key button 3 times , it doesn’t seem to click or respond
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I don’t normally use this button I live alone so have never used this button before . Basically I use the 40cmixed load setting . So don’t know how this has happened.

Without the information requested in my previous response, I can only give you a general answer, but I hope this helps.

You will have to unplug the appliance and remove the bottom front flap.
Then keep some beach towels and shallow container under the filter.
Now, rotate the drain pump filter anti clockwise to open, clean it completely and make sure it is not clogged.
Also with your fingers check if impellor rotates, then reconnect everything and plug it back.
Press and hold the START button for around 10 seconds to unlock the control.
Then try any program and please let me know how it goes.
