The start light is constantly flashing after it is turned on

Customer Question

The start light is constantly flashing after it is turned on to a cycle after about one minute?
JA: What's the brand and model of your lighting? How old is it?
Customer: It is probably about 10 years old. It is a start light and underneath it says’Cancel 2sec’
JA: How long has this been going on with your lighting? What have you tried so far?
Customer: tried turning it off and on. Then tried all different cycles to see if it is the cycle.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: It seems to start filling or draining for half a minute or so then stops and the start light starts flashing

This indicates either the drain is clogged or the circulation motor is faulty.

Please try this to solve the issue:

You will have to unplug the appliance and pull it out, then tip it backwards by around 45 degrees so excess water drains off completely.

After you have done this, check the drain hose where it connects to house drain and make sure it is not clogged.

Then please clean the mesh filter from inside and make sure it is not blocked.

Now, reconnect everything and plug it back; select any program.

It should work however, if the problem occurs again you will have to replace the motor.

Please do not hesitate to ask any follow up questions.

I hope you enjoyed your experience with justanswer.co.uk today.

Have a wonderful day.

Thank you.
