I have a Hobart fx machine, it is jammed on a wash cycle

Hi I have a Hobart fx machine, it is jammed on a wash cycle even if I open door or turn machine off it keeps washing ive pulled the plug and it stop put soon as I plug it in again it starts even tho machine is turned off
JA: Do you know the model of your Hobart appliance? How old is it?
Customer: Fxls not sure on age
JA: How long has this been going on with your Hobart appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: About an hour, I’ve tried shutting it down I’ve took the filter tray out nothing seem to stop it other than unplugging

Without the information requested in my previous response, I can only give you a general answer, but I hope this helps.

This is usually a fault with pressure switch and/or heater.

Please try this to solve the issue:

You will have to unplug the appliance and pull it out.

Then remove the top off the appliance and locate the pressure switch with thin hose attached to it.

Now, remove this hose and blow through it, make sure it is not clogged.

Then with the top off the appliance, locate the hoses going into dispenser and clean them completely.

After this is done reconnect everything and the problem should be solved.

However, if the issue is still there then try a cold wash only program.

If the appliance completes cold wash only then heating element is faulty and will need replacement.
