We have a Panasonic TX40HX820B. The standby red light

Customer Question

We have a Panasonic TX40HX820B. The standby red light periodically starts to flash, and the programme disappears. Is this a problem with the remote control?
JA: How old is your Panasonic lighting?
Customer: 2years
JA: How long has this been going on with your Panasonic lighting? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It was a problem when we first bought it,but then it settled. It has just started to be a problem again
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: It clears if we switch off mains, and switch in again. But may do it again randomly

Do we need a replacement remote?
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 17 days ago.

Continuous flashes is main board fault.

You may contact Panasonic and get the board replaced.

You can leave it unplugged for few hours then try again however, if the issue is still there you will have to replace the main board.

I hope this helps, please do not hesitate to ask any follow up questions.

I hope you enjoyed your experience with justanswer.co.uk today.
