Customer Question

Hi. Does an Indesit BWE91683XW UK have replaceable bearings and, if so, what size are they and is it worth getting them replaced?
JA: How old is your Indesit appliance?
Customer: 5 years
JA: How long has this been going on with your Indesit appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: 2 - 3 Weeks, very very noisy when spinning and drum seems to wobble too much when stopped.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Don't think so, 🙂

Are you sure the model number is ***** and not BWA91683XWUK ?

Customer: replied 16 days ago.
Definitely BWE - just checked sticker in door.

Not really, my mobile is out of data and the home phone isn't working

Thank you.

If the belt is not worn out or snapped and you are sure that it is drum fault then to be honest it will be better to buy a new one.

The drum will cost around £158 however, due to time spent in repairs the cost of repair will be around £300.

The appliance has to be unplugged then top and front has to be removed then the drum has to be removed for replacement.

A new Indesit (same model) will cost around £275.

Sorry about the bad news.
