I have a Zanussi dishwasher Model ZDM17301WA PNC91104600800. It is not washing properly and the dishwasher tablet is not dissolving. The water is getting heated but I guess not enough. Could it be heater unit, or thermostat or heat senser?
JA: Do you know the model of your Zanussi dishwasher? How old is it?
Customer: Model no. is ZDM17301WA. About 3 years old
JA: How long has this been going on with your Zanussi dishwasher? What have you tried so far?
Customer: A month. I have checked that it is heating up by holding the hoses; I have also tried different cycles
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Can't think of anything

Good morning,

My name is ***** ***** I will assist you with your appliance today.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your appliance.

I understand how frustrating that can be.

Please allow me a few minutes to check its schematics and then type the answer.

In the meantime, please tell me if you have seen any error codes or flashing lights or beep sounds.

N unwashed.o codes, lights or sounds. Just a solid tablet when the cycle has finished and the dishes etc

OK, if it fills fine then I am afraid the heater is faulty and will need replacement.

However, please try this:

You will have to unplug the appliance and pull it out, then tip it backwards by around 45 degrees so excess water drains off completely.

After you have done this, check the drain hose where it connects to house drain and make sure it is not clogged.

Then please clean the mesh filter from inside and make sure it is not blocked.

Now, reconnect everything and plug it back; select any program.

It should work however, if the problem occurs again you will have to replace the heating element and/or thermostat.
