Did you guys pull the appliance out and then cleaned it ?

Which part of the program does the steam come out ?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
No, that's what puzzled me a bit - if there was an error code then I could look up what to do, but there isn't
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
It's integrated, so not very easy to pull out
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
We checked drainage pipes and removed and cleaned filter
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
The steam comes out part way through
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 17 days ago.

OK and have you found any water at the base of the appliance while you were cleaning the filter ?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Before I noticed the steam issue, it had got stuck 1 minute from the end of the cycle, regardless of what cycle it was on ( I tried more than 1
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
the base is full of water, which won't drain away
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 17 days ago.

OK I understand.

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
We ran a rinse and ensured that water hose pipe was clear, which it was
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
The rinse cycle ran ok and finished

This indicates water has leaked in the base of appliance and activated the anti-flood device.

You may unplug it and remove the plinth (base panel below the door) of the appliance.

You will see a white plastic cover and above the white plastic base tray there is a metal cover.

Remove this and then you can try and soak the water up from the base there, use rug or beach towels and make sure the base is dry. After this is done, check the drain hose where it connects to house drain and make sure it is not clogged.

Then clean the mesh filter from inside and make sure it is not blocked.

Reconnect everything and plug it back, then try a empty program on its hottest setting and let me know how it goes.

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
ok, thanks - it may have to wait until later when my husband is home - can I reconnect to this chat once I've done it?
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 17 days ago.

Sure, this remains open till you want.

Cleaning it completely and keeping the base dry should solve the issue.

However, if the issue appears again then you will have to pull it out and remove the sides off the appliance then clean it from inside.

If something was faulty you would have seen an error code on the display hence, I believe cleaning and drying will solve the issue.

Please let me know if you need me to clarify anything or if you have any additional questions-I am happy to help!

I hope you enjoyed your experience with Justanswer UK today.

Have a wonderful day.
