Machine isnt spinning properly. Clothes overly wet. Solution?
JA: What's the brand and model of your appliance? How old is it?
Customer: Hotpoint WDAL 8640
JA: How long has this been going on with your Hotpoint appliance? What have you tried so far?
Customer: 3 Washes in last week. First towels, second bath mats - thought it mat be too heavy loads but 3rd was just underwear, no no where near weight limit

Please try this to solve the issue:

You will have to unplug the appliance and remove the bottom front flap.

Then keep some beach towels and shallow container under the filter.

Now, rotate the drain pump filter anti clockwise to open, clean it completely and make sure it is not clogged.

Also with your fingers check if impellor rotates, then reconnect everything and plug it back.

Then try any program however, if the error returns I am afraid the control board and/or motor is faulty and will need replacement.
