I have a brand new combo oven/microwave that has been used

I have a brand new combo oven/microwave that has been used 2/3 times with no problem. Today it is displaying Close the door and will not work?
JA: What happened just before your oven displayed this message?
Customer: Nothing, I opened the door to put something inside and then just closed the door
JA: How long has this been going on with your oven? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It is brand new,I have had it a week and used it 2 or 3 times. Have turned it off and on again, checked round the door, everything seems ok
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?

These issues usually occur due to power surge/power cut.

To solve the issue, please follow these instructions:

You will have to leave the appliance completely unplugged for around 1 hour.

Then plug it back and reset the clock, it should work.
