My battery is defective, purchased 17/9/2020 Vax blade 4,

JA: What's the brand and model of your appliance? How old is it?
Customer: purchased 17/9/2020 Vax blade 4
JA: How long has this been going on? What have you tried so far?
Customer: went to recharge the battery this morning and nothing has happened.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: on the base of the battery is says defective and testing. This has been on "charge" for 2 hours

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your VAX Blade 4.

This indicates either the charger is faulty and/or battery will need replacement.

You may try this:

Please leave it unplugged for few minutes.

Then press and hold the ON button; whilst holding the ON button put the charger back on and let go the button after around 20 seconds.

See if it works, if the issue is still there, I am afraid the battery pack and/or charger will need replacement.

Usually the battery lasts for around 3-4 years.

Alternatively, you may call VAX at 0330(###) ###-####to order the part or to book repair.

My battery is defective and testing according to the bottom on the charging unit. My Vax Blade 4 is in warranty

If it is under warranty then please call VAX at 0330(###) ###-####to book in warranty repair.

It was not a few minutes, it was nearly two hours. It was to be a transfered call which failed.
I phoned Vax myself, my battery was faulty and a new battery is in transit. In actual fact your Company did nothing for me.
