H indicates, water has leaked in the base of appliance and activated the anti-flood device.

You will have to unplug the appliance and pull it out, then tip it backwards by around 45 degrees so excess water drains off completely.

After you have done this, check the drain hose where it connects to house drain and make sure it is not clogged.

Then please clean the mesh filter from inside and make sure it is not blocked.

Now, reconnect everything and plug it back; press and hold the P button (if you still see H) for around 10 seconds, then select any program.

It should work however, if the problem occurs again you will have to replace the flow sensor and/or aquastop valve to solve the issue.

It has errored again- we have the LHS of the machine off and there is no sign of water entering the machine
how do we check the flow sensor and or aquastop- and where are they? there is some device with power to it at the top of the inlet hose- what is that?
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 16 days ago.

That device is aquastop, it is part of the inlet valve.

Do you see only LHS or you see a number as well with LHS ?

Customer: replied 16 days ago.
LHS is the left hand side of the machine- we took the panel off to see if there was an issue with the water inlet- ie blocked etc. so what should we check next?
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 16 days ago.

OK, and what is the error code displayed this time ?

Customer: replied 16 days ago.
it was H- just restarting it one more time to check
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
again H- no water coming in
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 16 days ago.

OK, press and hold the P button for around 10 seconds.

Customer: replied 16 days ago.
we did that
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 16 days ago.

OK, error is still there, and it won't fill, correct ?

Customer: replied 16 days ago.
correct
Expert:  KevinWhiteJA replied 16 days ago.

OK, as you have already tried to clean it and there are no blockages whatsoever, I am afraid, the aquastop valve is faulty and will need replacement.
