Something has got wrong with the rise aid system - I guess

This answer was rated:

something has got wrong with the rise aid system - I guess it's because I foolishly used some Waitrose rinse aid last time? The main consequence is that the plates etc. don't dry and there's no room for me to put in the Finish rinse aid.
JA: What's the brand and model of your dishwasher? How old is it?
Customer: Seimans (SN or SX) - its about 2 years old
JA: How long has this been going on with your dishwasher? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It's been a couple of weeks, (I tried to understand the operating instructions!) I found that putting rinse aid in made the previous wrong type overflow, but I think it somehow needs to be cleaned completely.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I'd like to know whether there should be some type of heat which comes on at end of sequence or whether the drying is completely left to rinse aid.

written would be best for me please

You can unplug and clean the rinse aid dispenser.

Then plug it back and select an empty program on its hottest setting, let this complete and then fill the rinse aid again, the problem should be resolved.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
