JA: What's the brand and model of your appliance? How old is it?
Customer: Danfoss FP715 Si
JA: How long has this been going on? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It’s about ten years old, I think
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I have switched sit off and on again. Nothing else so far

Hello Pete

Is the hot water heating programmed to go on and off at a certain time, or are you controlling it manually?

Customer: replied 16 days ago.
It’s programmed
Can you tell me more about exactly what is happening?
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
It switches to hot water (just as if it has been programmed) then 42 seconds later it switches off hot water. Then 42 seconds later it switches on again…and so on…

Okay, that sounds like a fault with the Danfoss programmable controller. Did you set it up and program it initially? You will need to try resetting and reprogramming the controller.

Does that completely answer your question? Please let me know if you have any follow up questions or if anything in this answer was unclear, and I will be happy to help.
