We have had apower cut and our Rangemaster ovens and hob will not work (the grill does seem to work!)
JA: Is your Rangemaster oven gas or electric? How old is it?
Customer: electric
JA: How long has this been going on with your Rangemaster oven? What have you tried so far?
Customer: only since yesterday. My wife is out and she said there was acertain to use on the buttons to bring it back to life!
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No I don't think so.

Without the information requested in my previous response, I can only give you a general answer however, I hope this helps.

These issues usually occur due to power surge/power cut.

To solve the issue, please follow these instructions:

You will have to leave the appliance completely unplugged or turned off at the mains for around 1 hour.

Then plug it back and reset the clock, it should work.

However, if the issue appears again then I am afraid, the clock control is faulty and will need replacement.

Alternatively, you may call Rangemaster at 01926 457628 to book repair.

There was no label rating inside any of the doors. But I pulled the oven out and on the rear is shows "Rangemaster Professional 90 Ceramic 230V" with a serial number of "6216 107136"

Please try above advise, and the issue should be resolved.

However, if the issue appears again then I am afraid, the clock control is faulty and will need replacement.
