We have a hotpoint fridge freezer,nothing wrong with the freezer except it’s making a rattling noise.if we turn it off and on quickly it stops the noise for a while,but then it returns,really annoying.luckily it’s in the garage so we don’t hear it all the time.any answers?
JA: How old is your Hotpoint fridge? Does the noise get louder or softer when changing the temperature setting?

JA: How long has this been going on with your Hotpoint refrigerator? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Recently about 2 weeks,but it happened before then it just stopped

It should be on a sticker inside the fridge section usually behind the salad drawer on the side wall.

As i havent heard back then i can only give a general answer on this.

The noise could be ice on the fan so if you can try doing a defrost on this first and see how it goes from there.
