Hello. HB76R550B /05. Simply turned it on...and there was a flash...and now this oven and the top oven (same HB75R550B /01) now doesnt work at all. Electrics have gone. Please help, I'm at my mums and dads...and they're all upset with me. ;-)

Customer: Siemens HB75R550B /05 - THE FIRST ONE THAT WENT. HB76R550B /01
JA: How long has this been going on with your Siemens oven? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It's never happened before.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: It simply b 'blew...up... ' in a slight manner...if you know what I mean.

Have you checked the plug fuse or the trip switch ?

Ok.,.. trip switch. I've just flipped it back. And the clock works now...but I can't turn the oven on for some reason.

OK, you will have to reset the clock so it works.

However, if it trips again, then this indicates a fault with the oven element that is faulty, and will need replacement.
