The main oven (model DH53CK) has stopped working. How can I get it repaIred?
JA: Is your oven gas or electric? How old is it?
Customer: Electric bought in 2011
JA: How long has this been going on with your oven? What have you tried so far?

I am afraid, this indicates an issue with the element and/or oven temperature sensor (thermostat) that is faulty and will need replacement.

When this is faulty oven suffers from uneven cooking or will not heat at all.

To solve the issue, please follow these instructions:

You will have to leave the appliance completely unplugged or turned off at the mains for around 1 hour.

Then plug it back and reset the clock, it should work.

However, if the issue appears again then I am afraid, the element and/or thermostat is faulty and will need replacement.

Alternatively, you may call Hotpoint at 03448 225 225 to book repair.
