Hi, Im Daniel and welcome to Just Answer. Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your washer, Hopefully i can help you on this.

You may get an offer for a phone request, Now im afraid i dont do them as i only do the online chat so if you dont want the phone request then just ignore it.

If you try and open the door does the handle feel loose when you try and squees it?

No
Expert:  Daniel replied 6 days ago.

Ok so the handle should be ok.

Has the washer drained the water out?

Remove the plastic trim on the front at the bottom and look on the far right near the filter and see if theres a green plastic pull tab.

If so then pull this down and try the door at the same time and see if the door opens from there.

Customer: replied 6 days ago.
No green pull tab, just a black plastic plug/dial

Expert:  Daniel replied 6 days ago.

Ok im have no idea why you are not getting my replies.

If you get this then is the washer draining the water out?

Customer: replied 6 days ago.
I think the water is out
Customer: replied 6 days ago.
The door lock did release at end of wash
Expert:  Daniel replied 6 days ago.

If the door lock released but isnt opening then its got to be a snapped door handle.

Try this as sometimes it does work.

Get some string and feed it into the gap of the door at the top and feed the stright around the door.

Do this till both ends are opposite the door handle and then pull the stright and try the door at the same time and see if it opens from there.

Customer: replied 6 days ago.
No that doesn’t work
Expert:  Daniel replied 6 days ago.

Ok so if the stright isnt working then the onoy way to get in there is from the inside.

If you are able to then pull the washer out and turn the power off.

Then remove the top and look down the front on the right hand side.

There you will see the door lock.

Reach down there and feel the far left hand side and there you feel the metal door pin.

You need to try and push this pin to the left while trying the door with your other hand to open it.

Sometimes you may need a small screwdriver to try and push the metal door pin and see how it goes from there.

Expert:  Daniel replied 6 days ago.
