Customer Question

My A6 is 2.0 petrol, 62,000 miles, registered May 08. Handbook says replace cambelt at 115,000 miles, with no reference to age of vehicle. Local Audi dealership advises change at 75,000 miles or 5 years if earlier. Who is right?

Hopefully i can help..

Im afraid the dealer is most definatly correct - this is on the understanding it hasnt been done before which most likly it hasn't at that age,but yu would need to check that..The recommended time i have for these car upto 2008 and too 09 on is every or nearing 75,000miles or every 60months which ever comes first really..not only does this included the belt but the tensioner and idlers & water pump..I do hope this helps
