my 325i bmw 2000 has an fuel issue. it sticks open the injector

Customer Question

my 325i bmw 2000 has an fuel issue. it sticks open the injector above cylinder 1 only. even before cranking with the starter and by then it has flooded the cylinder. i have changed the injectors about and coils and plugs and all are ok. ive even tried continuety tests on wires and earth wires and vaccum/air intake sealsand its all fine. basicallly the injector in question is fully open as soon as the power is switched on. as the wire comes from the ecu directly is it this that is at fault and how can it be fix or how has it just gone wrong. i have quite a bit of experience with mechanicing and have never seen this issue with bmw.
any help would be greatly appreciated but no nonsence. thanks

the injectors are driven directly from the ECU so for one to be stuck one all the time then its either going to be a fault with the ECU or a short in the injector wiring

1st thing to check is wiring damage so if you trace the injector loom back to the ECU especially where it passes over other engine components and through the bulkhead

if this seems all OK then I'd send the ECU off for testing / repair
