How do you reset the electrics in a bmw320m sport 56 plate?

Customer Question

How do you reset the electrics in a bmw320m sport 56 plate? Since shipping over the A symbol with the arrow round keeps flashing and the ABS sign and every other sign then shows. There is nothing wrong with the tyres or the car as this has been checked

what signs exactly show and under what conditions?

Hi, the DsC indicator flashes when accelerating and left hand bends. This causes the car to jolt so I use the DTC but it's started happening when DTC is on. After driving for a while the Dsc stays solid and ABS, break light and ((!)) when this occurs the car drives better!! We have recently had it shipped to cyprus, it wasnt doing this in the UK. It's had new tyres. And has been checked for any problems so I believe it's an electrical fault or wheel speed/ abs sensor? Not sure if the ship has done anything or the sensors need cleaning. Thank you

I will provide an honest answer. I trust this will be appreciated. Please remember that a low rating PUNISHES me for being honest and that I receive nothing for my time until a positive rating is clicked.
Per your question, you can reset the electrics by unhooking the car's battery for an hour.
Most likely you have a legitimate abs/dsc system failure. Most commonly a failed wheel speed sensor or the abs/dsc control module (computer) itself. The ONLY way to verify the cause is to have the fault logs scanned from the car with a high end scanner that is able to read from the abs/dsc system. If the car has been scanned and no faults found, most likely an unsuitable scanner was used.
Please let me know if you have further questions. Please do not forget to click a positive rating as this is the only way I receive credit for my answer, thank you. Best wishes with your vehicle.
