My bmw 3 series 320d ecopack has started to be completely

my bmw 3 series 320d ecopack has started to be completely dead with no elctronics at all. I have called out green flag but by the time they get here it hasstarted and everything is working normally. I have had the battery replaced but that is not the problem because it has happened again today twice?

there are two common things that cause this - assuming there are no loose cables or connections.
1) burning / melting / hot spot development where the positive battery cable connects to the fuse panel
2) a bad battery unit (the plastic box that sits on top of the battery)
