Hi my roof won’t go down on my bmw
Assistant: What is the model/year of your BMW?
Customer: 2012 Bmw 325 convertible
Assistant: Are you fixing your Convertible yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: well no it just would not go down at first then I manually got it have down and now it won’t close
Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?

Well it was not opening and I pushed the top and it opened half way then would not close

But a friend came around and we manage to close it manually

Well it’s closed but what could be the problem ( the car has been sat there not used for a good few moths

I also had to jump start it ? Is it something to do with that ? Do I need to reset computer

You need to get the fault codes from the roof controller first.
