I just changed the shock absorber from the rear of BMW e39

I just changed the shock absorber from the rear of BMW e39 series 5 520i 2003 , and still doing squid noise can be damaged the shock?
JA: What is the model/year of your BMW?
Customer: E39 BMW series 5 520i 2003
JA: Are you fixing your 320i yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I already installed them .
JA: Is there anything else the Mechanic should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: And back belts I had to taken them down now they locked.
JA: Which belt is acting up? And when was it last changed?
Customer: No was OK.

This would be the rear tie rod, with its bushing.
