bently arnarge 2001 n/s flasher not working. bulbs all ok, as hazards flasher lights all working. flasher unit sounds to be clicking faster than it should on n/s.

when you get a rapid 'clicking' from the indicator light then this is down to a mismatch of bulb resistances from what the flasher unit / relay was originally specified to

1st thing to try is remove all the bulbs one at a time on the indicator circuit ( front, side and rear) and double check that they are all 21W and 12V items and then clean up all the connections so they are bright and clean - use a little piece of emery clotch or sandpaper to give all the contacts a scrub and do the same to bulb contact points

but bulbs all work when the hazards are on.

the hazard flasher is on a different circuit and not as sensitive to imbalances

try cleaning up the connections 1st on the bulb sockets and see how you get on

Hello Kevin

if thats OK then check the condition of the terminals and the socket of the flasher unit if either look burnt then replace the flasher unit
