Hi i cant seem to adjust my clutch cable,the pedal is at the right height but need to to be tightened,have tried turning it clockwise and anti-clockwise but it has no effect on the pedal,I have also just put in a new clutch

hi no it seems a bit to soft,theres not alot of tension in it

It could be the nylon nut is partially stripped and slipping on the threads. I would try using a steel nut behind it after setting the clutch pedal height. The clutch pedal should be about 1/4" higher than the brake pedal.

there is no nut on the thread,the only nut there is attached just before the thread starts
