Rob_Mechanic :

hi and welcome to just answer. oil on the spring is from the shock absorber the seal has become defective and the damping fluid has leaked. I am concerned about the vibration a failed shock absorber seal would not cause a vibration .

Rob_Mechanic :

have you heard any abnormal noises leading up to this problem?
