ivw lt35 1984 lwb. bleeding brakes do you start at the rear first and do you bleed the rear compensator as it as a bleed nipple . the front calipers have two nipples which one do you do first the top or bottom thanks

Hi .start the bleed from the rear but as it is fitted with a compensator this needs to be in the open position to get pressure to the rear wheels.if you can bleed the rears with the wheels on the ground the better.

the fronts both bleed nipples will have to be bled but not in any specific order.

if you struggle to bleed the rears then bleed the compensator then the rears

in my experience I have never bled from the compensator.

it makes no difference which side you bleed first as long as you start at the rear
