Hello, welcome. My name is Mike, I will do my very best to
assist you with your question.

Does the temperature gage stay normal or is it rising?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

the temperature rises to overheahing 110 degrees plus.

i have bled the system of airlocks and after a day of short journeys overheats again.

the fan on the intercooler is not coming on. and the radiator fan not coming on

Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 4 years ago.
Ok this issue is consistent with either the thermostat sticking or the coolant sensor both of which will have a direct effect on the fans.It is recommended to replace the thermostat and the sensor together because when one fails it can and will cause damage to the other.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

i know where the sensor is and that is a paain in the axxx to replace with the engine in.

But where is the thermostat ?

Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 4 years ago.

The thermostat is right off the return line of the coolant hose. Look for the metal housing that goes back to the block and attaches to the hose. Inside that housing is the thermostat.
