and engine swap on most cars is about a days work so say 6-8 hours of labour

most small garages can tackle this sort of thing so you dob't need to use a dealership and so you'll save on the labour rate

depending on your location the hourly rate will 50 to 80 £ / hour so budget £300 to £600 for the labour and plus another £50 for consumables like fresh engine oil, cable ties and coolant
