Customer Question

2001 V40 1.9 D - horn problems. Both horns work when I put 12v through them - very loud! Checked loom - no apparent corrosion. Engine bay fuse and relay test for 12v. No voltage at steering wheel. No voltage at connector behind steering wheel. Short of pulling the dash off to hunt down each connector, what do you suggest. Oh, and when I tested for continuity in the five cables running through the contact reel, only one of the five tests positive, and that was not the horn connector. I am going to replace the contact reel and I am thinking of building a new horn connection and bypassing the problem.
