Hello Liz and Welcome -

My name is MIKE - Im happy to help / advise you ... Im sorry to see you have had a wait..

The Cd changer unit is a stacker unit on this model and is located actually hidden, inside the dash - where you insert the cd's - below the air vents.

The fault message you have can often refer to stuck cd in the changer - or a failed unit in itself.

There have been many Volvo Tsb's on this Liz - Technical service bulletins - which are "helps" for dealers when faced with such issues - and they do have their fair share of "issues" these Im afraid.

Given that -it may be worth you having a word / a phone call to your local dealer - tell them them the issue - its just possible they may fix it for you foc or for a reduced rate...its worth a phone call anyway.. Its not an easy task at all to gain access to the unit and remove it / and then of course , not cheap if it needs replacement - so it would be worth a tel call I would suggest - just as a tip..

If there is anything more you need on this or would like to discuss - by all means get back to me and we can carry on...

>> Meantime >>>> Please do click on the "OK/ Excellent ratings" for me - Thank you in advance for that...

You can and are most welcome to get back to me anytime you might need - clicking the OK ratings does not close you out at all..

Kind Rgds, MIKE.
