Customer Question

I have just purchased a Suzuki Swift 1.25 2011 recently and when I start the engine for tor the first time in the day, and driven a few yards down the road, there is a small clunk from the rear of the car which the Suzuki salesperson said was the fuel pump engaging. Is this correct? and is there any cause for concern?
Many thanks.

Hi Lucy and welcome to Just Answer.
I thinks the salesman is trying to fob you off.
The fuel pump on this vehicle will engage as soon as the ignition is switched on my advice would be to take it back to them for investigation.
If you would like anymore help on this just reply.
