Hi I filled my diesel car with unleaded and drove for about 8 miles when she stopped, I had the the tank drained but my car has no power what possibly is wrong

sorry to say that its very likely that you've damaged the high pressure pump and possibly the injectors

the petrol tends to destroy the seals so remove any lubrication so the pump internals break up and start making tiny filings of metal which then get forced into the the injectors

Its worth trying a fuel filter 1st but I suspect that the engine may need a new pressure pump
