I have a 2002 Honda CR-V with a fault code problem that shows on the reader as 1298. How do I find out what the actual problem is?
Name is***** goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back,

Hi this is your Electric Load Detector. this is an easy repair all you have to do is open the fuse box and remove the two fuses and then pull the ELD and replace with a new ELD then replace the fuses one fuse will be the 100amp and the other a 60amp .
Disconnect the battery first .

Here is a typical Honda fuse box and its ELD location .

As shown in black remove these screws then remove the fuses then the ELD.
replace in the reverse ,reconnect the battery and test .

This is what the ELD will look like when removed .

Please get back to me for further assistance if needed with the reply button, and not the poor or bad service button this way i can get back you or suggest another expert .
Kind regards Greg
