I am having trouble removing the drivers seat on my Boxster, I need to dry the carpets out due to water ingress. The only bolt I can't remove is the rear one closest to the centre console, reason being the seat won't go forward enough to expose the nut to be able to undo it, I have done the other rear bolt, any ideas?
Hello, welcome. My name is***** will do my very best to assist you with your question. I apologize if you have been waiting long for a response.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Porsche Boxster 2.7 2000 'w' reg
Can you post the serial number for me?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
You have to use a long extension and a crows foot socket to reach the remaining bolts and removing them, these tools are sold at any parts or tool store.

the crow foot spanner will foul the seat runner in which the bolt lies. The bolt is an e- Torx star type and these don't seem to be available in crow foot anyway..
This is the only tool I have found that can reach these bolts.

Do you know where I can obtain a crow foot spanner of the e-Torx type
You can actually buy this tool at the parts department of the dealer for not that much.
