Customer Question

We have a 2002 VW Passat state. We bought it in 2005, and it had a new head, and clutch and has worked beautifully. But now failed MOT because of a hole in the front sub frame. We are told to scrap the car, because to replace it would cost with brushes over £400. Is this correct. it is a very good car in every other respect. Please advise.

HelloI'd 1st suggest getting in touch with a VW specialist breakers yard as they will be able to provde a complete subframe assembly for a lot less than £400, its then about 2 hours labour to swap them over Try this firm /
