Hi, I have a 1972 Mini 850 with starting problems. fully charged battery, Carb new jets and choke all cleaned up, new fuel filter, good 10 bar on all cylinders, new points & ign coil,
new plugs and leads, .25 spark gap, tapits all adjusted correctly, live to plus on coil, ign light and starter work fi
ne but no firing at all. ??
I wonder if you have any ideas

You got spark coming out the coil HT to the distribitor.
and then spark to the plugs .gap 0.8mm.

What are the points set at 0.4mm. do you have a dwel meter if so check at cranking you have 57-63 %.

If you have no spark from the coil or to the plugs check with a test light that you have power on the green wire to the distribitor ..
