How do you mean light? - Is the pedal loose or sticking to the floor etc?
Has this been sudden issue with it?
Where roughly do you feel the bite point on the clutch?
Whats the registration?

sorry its a grand vitara
Ok..if and when you depress the clutch pedal and engine revs up isnt generally a clutch problem or possibily anything to do with the clutch operation side of things..but more so a issue with the engine ie: throttle body/iac valve/tps sensor...if the rpm shoots up as and when you depress the clutch then that would be first point of checks above.of course checking up within the foot well to ensure there are no obstructions or reason for the clutch pedal to effect the operation of the throttle pedal itself needs to be checked..if the clutch is slipping however and the bite point is fairly high nearing the full travel of the clutch pedal..then sadly you will be looking at another clutch assembly required to be fitted...I do hope this helps..if you require to ask anything further then please continue before you rate
