I have a 2003 1.9 tdi Skoda Octavia. The breaks work well

Customer Question

I have a 2003 1.9 tdi Skoda Octavia. The breaks work well but occasionally it feels like i have to put foot to the floor to get a break. this is very sporadic. any thoughts.

if occasionally you have no pedal pressure then I'd say the 1st thing to do is check over the vacuum line between the brake servo and the vacuum pump on the end of the engine as shown in this image ( vac connection is item 1)
