This answer was rated:

I have a 2014 Renault Clio and I have had a high temperature warning on my media nav just wondering why
Assistant: How many miles are on the car? Have you checked the coolant level?
Customer: 75,000
Assistant: What is the model of your '14 Renault?
Customer: The clio
Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i have checked coolant levels and oil level but all it is that there’s no sound on my media and it’s telling me temp high
Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No thanks

is the warning for coolant temp or ambient temperature?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Ambient temp the warning is on the media nav

Ok in that case its going to be an faulty ambient temp sensor thats located in front of radiator

you can either reach up form underneath , having removed the undertray or reach in through the grill to disconnect the sensor and clean its connections and check its wiring for damage

if thats OK then replace the sensor as they don't last forever
