This answer was rated:

Mini Cooper d loss of power on uphill climb or under motorway load. Had new alternator & ibs lead. All codes cleared and still an issue
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it?
Customer: Alternator layer faul bad 4a07 and 4a27
JA: What year is your MINI?
Customer: 2008. Mrs in tears ££££ spent and remaining fault.
JA: Are you fixing your MINI yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Bit of both. New alternator and Ibs battery lead. Ecu tested with no fault. Happens on motorway or steep hill increased loads. Won't rev past 3000 rpm.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Just that it drives without fault around town and that's about it. No codes showing but issue persists.
