I have a warning light with a spanner and the esc. What does

This answer was rated:

I have a warning light with a spanner and the esc. What does it indicate?
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: That's what came up on the display, the car is "juddering" as though it's about to stall.
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: Corsa 1.4 year 2016
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Not tried anything, just wondering if it's safe to drive to get it to the garage tomorrow.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I can't think of anything else.

Means you cars ecu has detected a fault..and thus stored fault codes in relation to the unless you have code reader to see what these codes are? it would be difficult to say for sure what sort of problem you have exactly..but given the symptoms your describing - sounds like the Coil pack giving out.. quite a common issue on them 1.4's.just make sure the coil pack if it is is a proper oem one...but its still driveable to point then it should be fine to a garage..unless you know of good mobile mechanic locally who can come out to it instead...
