Hi I have a whining noise when I press the clutch
Assistant: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: No slipping and no trouble shifting
Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2005 bmw 120d
Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Haven't tried anything. I've been told by someone that it's the dual mass fly wheel and it's will cost a lot but the car isn't worth that much so it's not realistic to fix
Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Also a bit of a grinding noise when only slightly pressing the clutch pedal

Hi my name is ***** ***** I help you with this ?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

It will need the gearbox removed to check the clutch slave bearing clutch itself and check the duel mass it’s not at the scrapping stage yet as it is only 3hrs labour at worst to remove the gearbox and inspection upon said items .
